I think that is how the majority of Americans are feeling right now. I know I am!
Hang in There!
Happy Holidays!

Yes, life is a lot of pain.

I went from a nice home with my whole family, I mean, we had it all, a motorcycle, everything…
to living in an old van. Me, my sis, mom, dad, and dog! All in a small van for a few months. Going to the salvation army for any food we got. We had nothing.
So yes, to answer your question. I been there. It ****!!!

yeah, you get use to it, then when you get a job, you’re not use to spending money. (this is the time to save money for a rainy day like now) gl

Yes it has. When my parents got divorced, my mother and I almost had to move out of our hose because we couldn’t afford it. I was on financial aid for school, and we rarely bought food. Get some side jobs, like babysitting or house watching and save your money. Seriously, don’t spend the bulk of your pay on something stupid. Put 85% of it in the back to build your savings back up

yes, I had $80,000 saved up 2 years ago, worked for google, day traded stocks, sold on ebay and had 2 cars.
Last year I was wrongfully arrested for a misdemeanor by a security guard that had a chip on his shoulder(well it was a cop that arrested me, he left me a note on my door one day and told me to come down the police station to talk to me, and then said he had to arrest me because the security guard was pressing charges). I fought it in court, but it was my word against his and he was a security guard in a position of authority and I wasn’t, so I lost. (I lost my ticket, it was $1.75 ticket, I explained to him as soon as I got on that I lost it, but I guess he’s got a quota to make each day for catching people, so he started writing me up and I tried to run because I was riding the train to the airport and he was making me late for my flight so I ran to catch a taxi…I missed my flight because of him anyways. Then I come back from my trip in Thailand (1 month later) and find out that he filed an assault charge against me. He said I tryed to hit him. Just completely made this up. So yes, its possible in USA for a complete stranger to easily ***** up the rest of your life in the blink of an eye just because they are having a bad day).
So because of the misdemeanor, I lost my job at Google, I was over qualified for mcdonalds etc.(I learned after a while to just lie on the application about past jobs), but the misdemeanor affected most jobs above that type of job so I got stuck working for minimum wage type jobs the past year. Ebay changed their rules earlier this year and raised their fees which put me out of business on there, and I had spent so much money in court fees fighting to win my case, and living for a few months without a job, that alot of my money was gone and the stock market did horrible this year anyways, so even as a daytrader I was severely affected. I had to sell my cars just to pay rent and eat, so now I walk everywhere.
Ok Im done whining. To make a long story short, yes, I had no money worries, and yes, there are some days now where I only eat 1 meal. The only reason I have internet is because Im starting to get back on my feet with a couple businesses I have on here, but its taken me about a year to do this. The economy sucks, people ****.

No…I have always had money worries to some degree. I don’t know which is worse…being born without adequate resources or having the resources and losing them.

My hubby left me last week. He drained our bank account, took our car, and packed up everything of value we owned. I was indigent for a few days but then my friends stepped up to help. I stopped my check from going in to the bank now so I’ll be ok. Never under estimate the power of crazy nutcases who love you.

Yes… But not bad as that guy that worked at google. That would ****. If he had 80k saved up, you think he would have paid rent up for a few years at least and buy him about $5,000 car and saved the rest for food and bills.. i don’t get that.. but i do feel sorry for him.
My fiance just got laid off almost two months ago. He is a main driller/boss on a drilling rig and they get laid off almost every winter and that really hurt us. He is making 503 in unemployment every week, but he is getting $1,100 took out for child support. So we are getting 503 every two weeks. He was getting that just in bonuses. That *****. I know so many people has it way worse than us, but this *****.
Christmas sucks, also. I always say i am going to save up just for Christmas every year and i have not done it yet. That is so stupid. But this year i hope i do. lol.
