You can fit in a part time job around college so you at least have your own money to spend.

Really? You are too busy to get a job? HA! I worked part-time all through High School and full-time during college and managed to graduate in the top of my classes. So, get off your derriere and go get (at the very least) a part time job – even if it’s fast food. If it covers your basic necessities – ie. college food – then you are helping them greatly. No parent should have to cover a child’s college expenses 100% – college is a luxury – not a given. If it’s important to you – you can make it work.

yea I feel your pain this is my second year in college and my first year was really tuff because I worked a job. I would suggest what i am doing now and that is a work study job. You can find them by talking to people at the college. These are jobs where you can pretty much study while you work and work no more than 20 hours a week and you still have your weekends to live a little. You would sit in the library or labs to make sure stuff doesn’t go wrong. And they usually pay pretty well for the work you will or won’t be doing.
