I’ve never really been able to afford much, and I was just wondering what it’s like to not have to worry about money. What do you worry about and stress about when it’s not money?

“Don’t Worry, Be Happy” is the title and famous principal lyric of a song by popular musician Bobby McFerrin, the first a cappella song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, holding that position for two weeks in September of 1988. At the 1989 Grammy Awards, “Don’t Worry Be Happy” won ‘Best Song of the Year’. The song’s title is taken from a famous quote by Meher Baba.[1] The original music video stars Robin Williams and Bill Irwin.

You can get to that position if you just remember you have to spend less than you make. It doesn’t matter how much you have coming in, if you spend a dollar less than that, you’ll be happier.

Create a budget for yourself. Write down things that you HAVE to have – that is, things you need like shelter and food. If you have debts, put the minimum payment for each one. Include utilities – gas, electric, water and trash if you have to pay them. Put the cost next to each one.

Add that up, and take it away from what you have coming in.

Now write down everything else you spend money on that you don’t absolutely HAVE to spend on. That includes things you want, even though they are not essential: phone, cellphone, cable, satellite, car payment, eating out, movies dvd rentals beer, cigarettes – everything.

Now, using the money you have available (that’s your income minus your essentials) allocate money to the things you’d LIKE.

When you’ve used all the money less one dollar, STOP. You can’t have any of the other things on your list for now. If that means you have to do without a phone, cable or care, so be it.

Now you are on the road to being happier.

Well, I don’t Worry about it, but believe me when i tell you they are a billion things out there I worry about like Family, My kid’s and making more money, even thou i live very well and do not worry about it (paying my bills or buying stuff).
So i guess my suggestion here is, it never ends and when you get to a high capacity of nice living, you now worry about other things.
So enjoy what you make and always reach for a little more.

A person who is programmed mentally to worry about money will worry about it no matter how much money he has. Period. Its all in the mind…
